The Lockheed "Warning Star" was one of the first airborne early warning (AEW) aircraft. This plane is a Navy WV-2, the Air Force designation was EC-121.

These photographs were taken on May 20, 1997 at the Florence Air and Missile Museum in Florence, SC (actually, in a field just to the west of the museum itself).
